Sing together – GeMainsam – the name says it all!

GeMainsam is a play on words, combining the German word for “together” (gemeinsam) and the name of the river Main, running through our beloved city. With our project we want to bring people from Frankfurt and their cultures closer together through singing. Frankfurt thrives on its diversity and we want to show and celebrate it together by inviting you to sing a song with us in different languages and create a fantastic video. Particularly in times of Corona we want to strengthen the community of our city – funded by the Amt für multikulturelle Angelegenheiten (AmkA), the office for multicultural affairs. And for everyone who does not live in Frankfurt: of course, “visitors” from other cities and countries and their voices are very welcome! So join in and help us bring the project “GeMainsam” to life, making it as diverse, multilingual and many-voiced as our city!
